No for real! It's such a cookie cutter thing to do, and so unlike us.
It's a relatively small club with a 9 hole golf course. The main draw
for me right now is the pool. It is just a few minutes from our house,
and it is SO hot this summer, that local receation was needed. I am not
a golfer though, and neither is Rob. We have always wanted to learn though.
Once we all have our own clubs, it will be a great sport for the family to do
together. There are other benefits I'd not expected though. This is a great way
to teach the kids better ettiquite. There are formal dinners where the kids will
get to dress up, and practice social skills. Golf is a game of good manners as well.
While I feel we are starting to conform a bit, we will have to find a way to redeem
ourselves.
